Steve opened up the whole show with basically a major diss on netbooks. Basically he said netbooks weren't good at anything. They were just cheap laptops. Which is pretty much true. Well they called it iPad. Which makes sense since it sounds like iPod, but unfortunately  it does sound like the new female hygiene product from Apple.  And they spent a good amount of time making damn sure people thought it was going to be called something else like iSlate. Very sneaky Apple. So it is only a pound and a half, half and inch thick, comes with 16-64mb of flash memory and has a custom built A4 processor made for Apple at 1 Ghz. Well today is the day that techies all over the globe clamor for the next new Apple product. I obviously think that nobody else does hype and buzz around their products like Apple does. But what is less publicized is the new OS update for the iPhone, which is probably the same OS that the Tablet will run on. I am sure we will see many live streaming webcasts of the Event in San Francisco scheduled to 10 a.m Pacific time. This will inevitably launch the new SDK as well since people will be able to develop apps for the new format of the tablet and iPhone developers will have to be able to optimize their already stellar list of apps.
